atha khalu bhagavān suvikrāntavikrāmiṇaṃ bodhisattvaṃ mahāsattvametadavocat-iha khalu suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo mahāsattvaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caranna kvaciddharme carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sarvadharmā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin viparyāsasamutthitāḥ, abhūtā asanto mithyā vitathāḥ | tadyathā suvikrāntavikrāmin kasmiṃściddharme carati, viparyāse sa carati | viparyāse caran na bhūte carati | na ca suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo viparyāsacaryāprabhāvitaḥ, abhūtacaryāprabhāvito vā | nāpi viparyāse vā abhūte vā caran bodhisattvaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carati | yaśca viparyāsaḥ, so'bhūtaḥ | na tatra kāciccaryā, tena tatra bodhisattvo na carati | viparyāsa iti suvikrāntavikrāmin vitathaḥ | eṣa bālapṛthagjanairgṛhītaḥ | na tathā yaiste te dharmāḥ | ye ca na tathā yathā gṛhītāḥ, sa ucyate'viparyāso'tra bhūta iti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo mahāsattvo viparyāse vā abhūte vā carati | bhūtavādīti suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo'viparyāsacārī | yatra ca bhūtamaviparyāsaḥ, tatra ca na kāciccaryā | tenocyate- acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | sarvacaryāsamucchinnā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvacaryā | sā na śakyā ādarśayitum-iyaṃ vā bodhisattvacaryā, anena vā bodhisattvacaryā, iha vā bodhisattvacaryā, ito vā bodhisattvacaryeti | naivaṃ bodhisattvacaryā prabhāvitā | sarvacaryāvinivṛttaye hi bodhisattvā bodhisattvacaryāṃ caranti pṛthagjanacaryāvinivṛttaye śrāvakacaryāvinivṛtaye pratyekabuddhacaryāvinivṛttaye | ye'pi te suvikrāntavikrāmin buddhadharmāḥ, teṣvapi bodhisattvā na caranti nābhiniviśante-ime vā te bodhisattvadharmāḥ, iha vā te bodhisattvadharmāḥ, anena vā te bodhisattvadharmāḥ, asya vā te bodhisattvadharmā iti | evamapi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na carati | sarvā eṣāṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin vikalpacaryā | na bodhisattvo vikalpe carati nāvikalpe | sarvavikalpaprahīṇā hi bodhisattvacaryā | kalpa iti suvikrāntavikrāmin vikalpanaiṣā sarvadharmāṇām | na hi śakyāḥ sarvadharmāḥ kalpayitum | akalpitā hi sarvadharmāḥ | tadyo dharmaṃ kalpayati, sa vikalpayati | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin dharmaḥ kalpo vā vikalpo vā | kalpa iti suvikrāntavikrāmin eṣa eko'ntaḥ, vikalpa iti dvitīyo'ntaḥ | na ca suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo'nte carati, nāpyanante | yo naiva ante na anante carati, sa madhyaṃ na samanupaśyati | madhyamapi suvikrāntavikrāmin samanupaśyan madhye caran anta eva carati | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin madhyasya kāciccaryā (vā kiṃci)ddarśanaṃ vā(nidarśanaṃ vā) | madhyamiti suvikrāntavikrāmin nāpi āryāṣṭāṅgamārgasyaitadadhivacanam | na ca suvikrāntavikrāmin āryāṣṭāṅgo mārgaḥ kasyaciddharmasyopalambhena pratyupasthitaḥ, nāpi kasyaciddharmasya samanupaśyanatayā ||



api tu yasmin samaye suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na kaṃciddharmaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati, tadā pratiprasrabdhamārga ityucyate | sa sarvadharmān na bhāvayanna vibhāvayan bhāvanāsamatikrānto dharmasamatāmanuprāpnoti, yayā dharmasamatayā mārgasaṃjñāpyasya na pravartate, kutaḥ punarmārgaṃ drakṣyati ? pratiprasrabdhamārga iti suvikrāntavikrāmin arhataḥ kṣīṇāsravasyaitadbhikṣoradhivacanam | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvito hi sa mārgo na bhāvito na vibhāvitaḥ | tenocyate vibhāvita iti | vibhāvanāpi tatra nāsti, tenocyate vibhāvita iti | vigatā tasya bhāvanā, tenocyate vibhāvaneti | sacetkhalu punaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin bhāvanā syādvibhāvanā vā, sā punarupalabhyate, nāsyā vibhāvanā syāt | vibhāvaneti suvikrāntavikrāmin vigatā asyāṃ bhāvaneti vibhāvanā, bhāvo'syā vigata iti, tenocyate vibhāvaneti, na punaryathocyate | tatkasmāt ? avyāhārā hi vibhāvanā, vigama eṣa vibhāvanā | katamo vigamaḥ ? yato viparyāsasya asamutthānaṃ yadabhūtasyāsamutthānam | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin viparyāso viparyāsaṃ samutthāpayati | asamutthita eṣa viparyāsaḥ | na hi tatra kiṃcitsamutthānam | yadi tatra kiṃcitsamutthānamabhaviṣyat, nocyeta | yasmādabhūtasamutthitaḥ, tasmāducyate viparyāsa iti | aviparyāstā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin sarvadharmā bodhisattvenānubuddhāḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? jñāto hi tena viparyāso'bhūta iti | na viparyāse viparyāsaḥ saṃvidyate | yena viparyāso'bhūto jñātaḥ, na viparyāse viparyāsaḥ saṃvidyate, tena aviparyastāḥ sarvadharmāḥ samanubuddhāḥ | yaśca aviparyāsasyānubodhaḥ, na tatra bhūyo viparyāsaḥ | yatra (na) kaścidviparyāsaḥ, tatra na kāciccaryā | sarvā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin caryā sā caryāsamutthānā | caryāvikalpādviparyāsaḥ | bodhisattvastu caryāyāṃ na vikalpayati | tena sārdhamaviparyāsaḥ sthita ityucyate | yaśca aviparyastaḥ, sa na kvacidbhūyaścarati | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacareti | acaryeti suvikrāntavikrāmin yanna kvaciddharme carati na vicarati na caryālakṣaṇaṃ saṃdarśayati, iyamucyate bodhisattvacaryeti | ya evaṃ carati, sa carati prajñāpāramitāyām ||



na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo rūpārambaṇe caraṃścarati prajñāpāramitāyām, na vedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskāravijñānārambaṇe caraṃścarati prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sarvārambaṇāni hi tena viviktāni vijñātāni | yaśca vivekaḥ, na tatra kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaścakṣurārambaṇe caraṃścarati prajñāpāramitāyām, na śrotraghrāṇajihvākāyamanaārambaṇe caraṃścarati prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddheto? sarvārambaṇāni hi tena abhūtāni jñātāni | yaśca sarvārambaṇāni abhūtānīti jānāti, nāsau kvaciccarati | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo rūpaśabdagandharasaspraṣṭavyadharmārambaṇe caraṃścarati prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sarvārambaṇāni hi tena anārambaṇānītyanubuddhāni | yena ca sarvārambaṇāni anārambaṇānītyanubuddhāni, sa na kvacidārambaṇe carati | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhi(sattvā mahāsattvāḥ) sattvārambaṇe (ca ātmārambaṇe) ca carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? parijñātā hi taiḥ sattvasaṃjñā ca ātmasaṃjñā ca-abhūtaiṣā sattvasaṃjñā ca ātmasaṃjñā ceti | yaiśca abhūtā sattvasaṃjñā ca ātmasaṃjñā ca jñātā, na te kasyāṃciccaryāyāṃ caranti | ye na kasyāciccaryāyāṃ caranti, tena ca caryā apagatā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | ye na suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā jīvasaṃjñāyāṃ vā poṣapuruṣapudgalamanujamānavotthāpakasamutthāpakakārakakārayitṛvedakavedayitṛsaṃjñāyāṃ jñātṛjñāpakasaṃjñāyāṃ carantaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caranti | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitā hi taiḥ sarvasaṃjñāḥ | yaiśca vibhāvitāḥ sarvasaṃjñāḥ, na te bhūyaḥ kasyāṃcitsaṃjñāyāṃ caranti | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā viparyāsairvā dṛṣṭigatairvā nīvaraṇairvā carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | nāpi viparyāsadṛṣṭigatanīvaraṇārambaṇeṣu carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? parijñātāni hi tairviparyāsadṛṣṭigatanīvaraṇārambaṇāni | yā ca parijñā, sā acaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvāḥ pratītyasamutpādārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? parijñāto hi taiḥ pratītyasamutpādaḥ, parijñātaṃ pratītyasamutpādasyārambaṇam | yā ca parijñā pratītyasamutpādasya pratītyasamutpādārambaṇasya ca, tatra na kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvāḥ kāmadhātvārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | na rūpārūpyadhātvārambaṇe vā carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitāni hi taiḥ kāmadhāturūpadhātvārūpyadhātvārambaṇāni | yā ca kāmadhāturūpadhātvārūpyadhātvārambaṇavibhāvanā, na tasyāḥ kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā dānamātsaryaśīladauḥśīlyārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasya hetoḥ ? parijñātaṃ hi tairdānamātsaryaśīladauḥśīlyārambaṇam | yā ca parijñā dānamātsaryaśīladauḥśīlyārambaṇasya, tasyāṃ na kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvāḥ kṣāntivyāpādavīryakausīdyadhyānavikṣepaprajñādauṣprajñyārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? parijñātāni hi taiḥ sarvārambaṇāni | yā ca parijñā sarvārambaṇānām, tatra na kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā aviparyāsasamyakprahāṇasmṛtyupasthānāpramāṇārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sarvārambaṇāni hi tairvaśikāni jñātāni | yā ca vaśikā ārambaṇaparijñā, tasyā na kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā indriyabalabodhyaṅgadhyānasamādhisamāpattyārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitāni hi tairindriyabalabodhyaṅgadhyānasamādhisamāpattyārambaṇāni | yā ca vibhāvanā, tasyā na kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā duḥkhasamudayanirodhamārgārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitāni hi tairduḥkhasamudayanirodhamārgārambaṇāni | yā ca vibhāvanā, na tasyāṃ kācidbhāvanā, na ca tasyāṃ bhūyaḥ kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā vidyāvimuktyārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitaṃ hi tairvidyāvimuktyārambaṇam | yā ca vibhāvanā, na tatra kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvā anutpādārambaṇe vā kṣayārambaṇe vā anabhisaṃskārārambaṇe vā carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitaṃ hi tairanutpādakṣayānabhisaṃskārārambaṇam | yā ca vibhāvanā, na tatra kācidbhūyaścaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvāḥ pṛthivyaptejovāyvākāśārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? vibhāvitāni hi taiḥ pṛthivyaptejovāyvākāśārambaṇāni | yā ca vibhāvanā, na tatra kāciccaryā | tenocyate acaryā bodhisattvacaryeti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvāḥ śrāvakapratyekabuddhabhūmyārambaṇe carantaścaranti prajñāpāramitāyām | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo rūpārambaṇapariśuddhāvapi na carati | evaṃ vedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskāravijñānārambaṇapariśuddhāvapi na carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena rūpārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ vedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskāravijñānārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | yā evaṃ caryā, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na cakṣurārambaṇaviśuddhau carati, na śrotraghrāṇajihvākāyamanaārambaṇaviśuddhau carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena yāvanmanaārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | yā evaṃ caryā, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na rūpaśabdagandharasaspraṣṭavyadharmārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena yāvaddharmārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | yā evaṃ caryā, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na nāmarūpārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena nāmarūpārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | yā evaṃ caryā, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo nātmasattvārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? parijñātā hi tena ātmasattvārambaṇaprakṛtiparijñā | yā evaṃ caryā, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na jīvabhavapudgalakārakakārayitrutthāpakasamutthāpakavedakavedayitṛdraṣṭrārambaṇapariśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena jīvabhavapudgalakārakakārayitrutthāpakasamutthāpakavedakavedayitṛdraṣṭrārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | yā evaṃ caryā, bodhisattvasyeyaṃ prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na viparyāsadṛṣṭigatārambaṇapariśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasya hetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena viparyāsadṛṣṭigatārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | yā evaṃ caryā, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na nīvaraṇārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi nīvaraṇārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na pratītyasamutpādārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena pratītyasamutpādārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na kāmadhāturūpadhātvārūpyadhātvārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena kāmadhāturūpadhātvārūpyadhātvārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na dānamātsaryaśīladauḥśīlyārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena dānamātsaryaśīladauḥśīlyārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na kṣāntivyāpādavīryakausīdyadhyānavikṣepaprajñādauṣprajñyārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena kṣāntivyāpādavīryakausīdyadhyānavikṣepaprajñādauṣprajñyārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo nātītānāgatapratyutpannārambaṇaviśuddhapi carati| tatkasmāddhetoḥ? prakṛtipariśuddhāni hi tena atītānāgatapratyutpannārambaṇāni parijñātāni | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo nāsaṅgāvaraṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena asaṅgārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo nābhijñārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tenābhijñārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvo na sarvajñatārambaṇaviśuddhāvapi carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhaṃ hi tena sarvajñatārambaṇaṃ parijñātam | evaṃ caran suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaścarati prajñāpāramitāyām, yanna kasyāṃcidārambaṇaviśuddhau carati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prakṛtipariśuddhatvātsarvārambaṇānām | iyaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvasya mahāsattvasya sarvārambaṇaprakṛtipariśuddhiḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carataḥ ||

tatra suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaḥ imānevaṃrūpānabhiniveśān sattvānāṃ viparyāsacittajān samanupaśyan na kvacidviparyāse cittamutpādayati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? cittāpagatā hi prajñāpāramitā | yā ca cittasya prakṛtiprabhāsvaratā prakṛtipariśuddhatā, tatra na kāciccittasyotpattiḥ | ārambaṇe sati suvikrāntavikrāmin bālapṛthagjanāścittamutpādayanti | tatra bodhisattvo'pyārambaṇaṃ prajānannapi cittasyotpattiṃ prajānāti - kutaścittamutpadyate ? sa evaṃ pratyavekṣate-prakṛtiprabhāsvaramidaṃ cittam | tasyaivaṃ bhavati-ārambaṇaṃ pratītya cittamutpadyate iti | sa ārambaṇaṃ parijñāya na cittamutpādayati nāpi nirodhayati | tasya taccittaṃ prabhāsvaraṃ bhavati asaṃkliṣṭaṃ kamanīyaṃ pariśuddham | sa cittānutpādasthito na kaṃciddharmamutpādayati na nirodhayati | iyaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin cittānutpādaparijñā prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carataḥ | ya evaṃ carati bodhisattvaḥ, sa prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carati | tasyaivaṃ carato naivaṃ bhavati-ahaṃ carāmi prajñāpāramitāyām, asyāṃ carāmi prajñāpāramitāyām, anena carāmi prajñāpāramitāyām, asmāccarāmi prajñāpāramitāyāmiti | sacetpunaḥ saṃjānīte-iyaṃ prajñāpāramitā, anena prajñāpāramitā, asya vā prajñāpāramiteti, na carati prajñāpāramitāyām | atha tāmapi prajñāpāramitāṃ na samanupaśyati nopalabhate-ahaṃ carāmi prajñāpāramitāyāmiti na carati, carati prajñāpāramitāyām ||

evamukte bhagavān suvikrāntavikrāmiṇaṃ bodhisattvaṃ mahāsattvametadavocat-evametat suvikrāntavikrāmin, evametat | anavakrāntacaryeyaṃ bodhisattvasya māreṇa vā mārakāyikairvā devaputrairmāraparṣadā vā, antaśo nirvāṇadṛṣṭikairapi nirvāṇābhiniviṣṭairvā anākramaṇīyā sarvabālapṛthagjanairvā | yā bodhisattvānāmiyaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmiṃścaryā, neyaṃ caryā bālapṛthagjanānām | nāpīyaṃ caryā śaikṣāśaikṣāṇāṃ śrāvakayānīyānām, nāpi pratyekabuddhayānīyānām | sacet suvikrāntavikrāmin iyaṃ caryā śrāvakayānīyānāṃ vā pratyekabuddhayānīyānāṃ vā abhaviṣyat, na teṣāṃ kaścidvyavahāro'bhaviṣyat-śrāvakayānīyā vā pratyekabuddhayānīyā veti | bodhisattvā evābhaviṣyan, te'pi tathāgatā vā caturvaiśāradyaprāptā abhaviṣyan | yasmāttarhi suvikrāntavikrāmin na śrāvakayānīyānāṃ va pratyekabuddhayānīyānāmiyaṃ caryā, tasmātte na bodhisattvā iti saṃkhyāṃ gacchanti, na ca tathāgatā bhavanti caturvaiśāradyaprāptāḥ | vaiśāradyabhūmiriyaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin dharme, neyaṃ prajñāpāramitācaryā | evaṃ carantaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvāḥ kṣipraṃ caturvaiśāradyatāmanuprāpnuvanti, anabhisaṃbuddhā eva yāvadanuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhiṃ praṇidhānavaśena ca buddhānāṃ ca bhagavatāmadhiṣṭhānavaśena | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin śrāvakayānikānāṃ vā pratyekabuddhayānikānāṃ vā caturvaiśāradyaṃ bhavati, nāpi tathāgatasteṣāṃ caturvaiśāradyamadhitiṣṭhati | bodhisattvabhūmireṣā suvikrāntavikrāmin yasyāṃ caturvaiśāradyamanuprāpyate praṇidhānavaśena | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prajñāpāramitāyāṃ suvikrāntavikrāmiṃścaranto bodhisattvāḥ catasraḥ pratisaṃvido'nuprāpnuvanti | katamāścatasraḥ ? yaduta arthapratisaṃvidaṃ dharmapratisaṃvidaṃ niruktipratisaṃvidaṃ pratibhānapratisaṃvidam | ābhiścatasṛbhiḥ pratisaṃvidbhiḥ samanvāgatā anabhisaṃbuddhā eva praṇidhānavaśena vaiśāradyāni pratigṛhṇanti | tathāgatā api tān kuśalamūlasamanvāgatāniti viditvā prajñāpāramitābhūmyanuprāptāniti viditvā adhitiṣṭhanti caturvaiśāradyena | tasmāttarhi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvena catasraḥ pratisaṃvido'nuprāptukāmena kṣipraṃ caturvaiśāradyakuśalena bhavitukāmena prajñāpāramitāyāṃ śikṣitavyaṃ caritavyam ||



punaraparaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caran sarvadharmāṇāṃ hetuṃ ca samudayaṃ ca astaṃgamaṃ ca nirodhaṃ ca pravidhyati na kaṃciddharmam, yatprajñāpāramitāyāṃ na yojayati | sarvadharmāṇāṃ hetusamudayanirodhamārgalakṣaṇaṃ prajānāti | teṣāṃ hetusamudayanirodhamārgalakṣaṇaṃ prajānan na rūpaṃ prabhāvayati na vibhāvayati | evaṃ vedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskārān | na vijñānaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na nāmarūpaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na saṃkleśavyavadānaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na viparyāsadṛṣṭigatanīvaraṇāni bhāvayati na vibhāvayati| na rāgadveṣamohān bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na kāmadhātuṃ na rūpadhātuṃ nārūpyadhātuṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na sattvadhātuṃ nātmadhātuṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | nocchedadṛṣṭiṃ na śāśvatadṛṣṭiṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na dānamātsaryaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na śīladauḥśīlyaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na kṣāntivyāpādaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | va vīryakausīdyaṃ na dhyānavikṣepaṃ na prajñādauṣprajñyaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na smṛtyupasthānasamyakprahāṇāviparyāsarddhipādāpramāṇāni bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | nendriyabalabodhyaṅgasamādhisamāpattīrbhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na pratītyasamutpādaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na duḥkhasamudayanirodhamārgān bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | nānutpādajñānaṃ na kṣayajñānaṃ nābhisaṃskārajñānaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na pṛthagjanabhūmiṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na śrāvakabhūmiṃ na pratyekabuddhabhūmiṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na pṛthagjanadharmān na śrāvakadharmān na pratyekabuddhadharmān (na bodhisattvadharmabuddhadharmān) bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na śamathaṃ na vidarśanāṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na nirvāṇaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | nātītānāgatapratyutpannajñānadarśanaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na saṅgatāṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | nāsaṅgatāṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na buddhajñānaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | na buddhavaiśāradyāni bhāvayati na vibhāvayati | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? abhāvyāni hi suvikrāntavikrāmin rūpavedanāsajñāsaṃskāravijñānāni | abhāvyāni nāmarūpaviparyāsadṛṣṭigatasmṛtyupasthānasamyakprahāṇarddhipādāviparyāsāpramāṇendriyabala-bodhyaṅgasamādhisamāpattyabhijñākṣayajñānābhisaṃskārajñānāni | abhāvyā pṛthagjanabhūmiḥ, abhāvyāḥ śrāvakapratyekabuddhabodhisattvabhūmayaḥ, abhāvyāḥ pṛthagjanaśrāvakapratyekabuddhadharmāḥ, abhāvyaṃ nirvāṇam, abhāvyamatītānāgatapratyutpannajñānadarśanam, abhāvyamasaṅgajñānadarśanam, abhāvyamanāsaṅgajñānadarśanam, abhāvyaṃ samyaksaṃbuddhajñānam | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin kācidasti bhāvapariniṣpattiḥ | abhūtā hyete sarva eva vyavahārāḥ | nātra kaścitsvabhāvaḥ | abhāvasvabhāvā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin sarvadharmāḥ, abhūtā asaṃbhūtāḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? yo hi viparyāsaḥ so'bhūtaḥ | viparyāsasamutthitāḥ sarvadharmāḥ | yo hi viparyāsaḥ, so'bhāvaḥ | bhāvāpagatā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin sarvadharmāḥ | bhāvo nopalabhyate'svabhāvatvāt | abhāva iti suvikrāntavikrāmin abhūtaḥ | so'saṃbhūtaḥ, tenocyate abhāva iti | asatparidīpanaiṣā suvikrāntavikrāmin abhāva iti | yaśca abhāva, tatra na bhāvanā na vibhāvanā | viparyāsasamutthitatayā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin sattvā bhāvayanti ca vibhāvayanti ca | na tatra kiṃcidbhāvyam | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? abhāvasvabhāvā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin sarvadharmāḥ, bhāvāpagatā vastvasattvāt | na tatra kiṃcidbhāvyam | yasmin samaye suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattva evaṃ dharmeṣu dharmānudarśī viharan prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caran na kaṃciddharmaṃ bhāvayati na vibhāvayati, iyamucyate prajñāpāramitābhāvaneti | evaṃ carata evaṃ viharataḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvasya mahāsattvasya prajñāpāramitābhāvanā paripūriṃ gacchati ||

punaraparaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaḥ evaṃ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caran nendriyavikalo bhavati | sa na rūpavikalo bhavati, na bhogavikalo bhavati, na parivāravikalo bhavati, na jātivikalo bhavati, na kulavikalo bhavati, na deśavikalo bhavati, na ca pratyunteṣu janapadeṣūpapadyate, na cākṣaṇaprāpto bhavati, na cāpariśuddhaiḥ sattvairapariśuddhakarmāntaiḥ saṃsargajāto bhavati, na ca svacittaṃ hāpayati, na ca prajñāyā hīyate | sa yān dharmān parataḥ śṛṇoti, tān sarvadharmasamatāyāṃ saṃsyandayati, sthitaśca bhavati buddhavaṃśasya sarvajñatāvaṃśasyānupacchedāya | sa ālokalabdhaśca bhavati buddhadharmeṣu, atyāsannaśca bhavati sarvajñatāyām | taṃ sacenmāraḥ pāpīyān upasaṃkrāmati viheṭhanārtham, sa tanmāraparṣadaṃ bhasmīkaroti chinnapratibhānām, sarvāṃśca mārapāśāṃśchinatti, sarvairmārakāyikairmārakoṭibhiścādhṛṣyo bhavati | tato mārā bhītāstrastāḥ palāyante | evaṃ ca mārasya pāpīyaso bhavati-atikrāntaviṣayo'yaṃ mama, nāyaṃ mama bhūyo viṣaye carati, nāyaṃ mama bhūyo viṣaye sthitaḥ, nāyaṃ mama bhūyo viṣayamākramiṣyatīti, anyāṃśca sattvān mama viṣayānmocayiṣyatīti, uttārayiṣyatīti | tatra māraḥ pāpīyān śocati krandati paridevate-alpapakṣīkariṣyati ayaṃ bodhisattvo māmiti | daurbalyaṃ cāsya viśati, duḥkhitaśca bhavati durmanā vipratisārī | yasmiṃśca samaye suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carati, prajñāpāramitāṃ bhāvayati, prajñāpāramitāyāṃ yogamāpadyate, sarvamārabhavanāni tasmin samaye dhyāmībhavanti alpatejaskāni, mārāśca pāpīyāṃso duḥkhitā durmanaso bhavanti śokaśalyasamarpitā mahāśokaśalyaviddhāḥ-ativāhayiṣyatyayaṃ bata sattvānasmadviṣayāt, uttārayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvānasmadviṣayāt, parimocayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvānasmadviṣayāt, abhyuddhariṣyatyayaṃ bata sattvānasmadviṣayāt, chedayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvān mārapāśāt, samutkṣepsyatyayaṃ sattvān kāmapaṅkalagnān, mocayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvān dṛṣṭijālebhyaḥ, uttārayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvān nīvaraṇapathāt, pratiṣṭhāpayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvān sanmārge, uttārayiṣyatyayaṃ sattvān dṛṣṭigahanāditi | imamarthavaśaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin saṃpaśyantaste mārā duḥkhitā bhavanti durmanasaḥ śokaśalyaviddhāḥ | tadyathāpi nāma suvikrāntavikrāmin puruṣo mahatā dhanaskandhena vipannena duḥkhito vedanātta(rta)manā mahatā duḥkhadaurmanasyena samanvāgataḥ | evameva māraḥ pāpīyān duḥkhito bhavati durmanā vipratisārī śokaśalyaviddhaḥ | na ca svake āsane ramate, yasmin samaye bodhisattvaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carati, prajñāpāramitāṃ bhāvayati, prajñāpāramitāyāṃ yogamāpadyate | punaraparaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin te mārāḥ pāpīyāṃsaḥ ekataḥ samāgamya cintayanti-kathaṃ kariṣyāmaḥ, kiṃ nu kariṣyāmaḥ | kathaṃkathāśokaśalyaviddhā bhavanti| te kathaṃkathāśokaśalyaviddhā bhūtvā upasaṃkrāmanti bodhisattvasyāvatāragaveṣiṇaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carataḥ | tatra bodhisattvasya romāpi na hṛṣyati, na punaḥ kāyasyānyathātvaṃ bhaviṣyati cittasyānyathātvaṃ vā | vigatabhayaromaharṣaśca māraḥ pāpīyāniti saṃbudhyate | buddhvā cādhiṣṭhānaṃ karoti | tato māraḥ pāpīyānadhiṣṭhito durbalo bhavati līnacitto bhayamāpannaḥ | na cāsya śaknotyavatāraṃ labdhum | tasyaivaṃ bhavati-ahamevāsya na śakto'vatāraṃ labdhum, kiṃ punarmama parṣat, kiṃ punaryadanye'dhiṣṭhāsyanti | tataste mārā(strastā utsāhapa)rihīṇāḥ svabhavanāni gatvā duḥkhadaurmanasyajātāḥ pradhyāyantastiṣṭhanti, na ca śaknuvanti bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carato'cchaṭāmātramapi cittasya mohanaṃ kartum, prāgevāsyāntarāyam | iyaṃ(daṃ) suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carato (bodhisattvasya) evaṃrūpaṃ prajñābalādhiṣṭhānaṃ bhavati, evaṃrūpeṇa ca prajñābalādhiṣṭhānena samanvāgato bhavati | sacedye sarvasmiṃstrisāhasramahāsāhasre lokadhātau sattvāḥ, te sarve mārā bhaveyuḥ, te sarve mahatībhirmāraparṣadbhiḥ sārdhaṃ taṃ bodhisattvaṃ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carantamupasaṃkrameyurviheṭhābhiprāyāḥ | te'pi sarve suvikrāntavikrāmin mārāḥ pāpīyāṃso na prabhavantyantarāyaṃ kartum | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? tathārūpeṇa hi prajñābalādhānena prajñākhaḍgena prajñāśastreṇa tasmin samaye bodhisattvaḥ samanvāgato bhavati | acintyayā suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñayā aprameyayā asamasamayā bodhisattvastadā samanvāgato bhavati | tena taṃ na pratibalo bhavati māraḥ pāpīyānabhibhavitum | mahāśastraṃ hyetatsuvikrāntavikrāmin yaduta prajñāśastram, mahākhaḍgo hyeṣa suvikrāntavikrāmin yaduta prajñākhaḍgaḥ, yatrāgatiraviṣayo mārāṇāṃ pāpīyasām, abhūmirmārāṇāṃ pāpīyasām | ye'pi tāvatsuvikrāntavikrāmin bāhyā ṛṣayaścaturṇāṃ dhyānānāṃ lābhinaḥ, catasṛṇāṃ vā ārūpyasamāpattīnām, ye māraviṣayaṃ kāmadhātumatikramya brahmaloke copapadyante caturṣu ca ārūpyeṣu sadevanikāyeṣu, teṣāmapi tāvadagatiraviṣayaḥ yaduta evaṃrūpāyāṃ prajñāyām, yā bodhisattvasya prajñā prākṛtā, kiṃ punaryā prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carataḥ prajñā, kaḥ punarvādo mārāṇāṃ pāpīyasāṃ yeṣāmaviṣayo rūparūpyadhātau | balādhānaprāptaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvastasmin samaye bhavati mahābalādhānasamanvāgato yaduta prajñāpāramitābalena | ye khalu kecit suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitābalena samanvāgatā bhavanti tīkṣṇena prajñāśastreṇa, adhṛṣyāste bhavanti māraiḥ pāpīyobhiranākramaṇīyāḥ | ye kecit suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñābalena samanvāgatā bhavanti tīkṣṇena ca prajñāśastreṇa, na te kvacinniśrayaṃ kurvanti, aniśritāste bhavanti | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? niśraye hi suvikrāntavikrāmin sati calitaṃ bhavati, calite sati spandanā bhavati, spandanāyāṃ satyāṃ prapañcanā bhavati | yeṣāṃ keṣāṃcit suvikrāntavikrāmin niśrayaśca bhavati calitaṃ ca bhavati spanditaṃ ca bhavati prapañcanā (ca) bhavati, te mārasya pāpīyaso vaśagatā bhavanti, aparimuktāśca bhavanti te māraviṣayāt | ye'pi tāvat suvikrāntavikrāmin yāvad bhavāgropapannāḥ sattvā niśritā niśrayanibaddhā niśrayādhyāsitāḥ, te'pyāgamiṣyanti punarmāraviṣayam | aparimuktāśca te mārapāśebhyaḥ, anugatasūtrāśca te mārapāśaiḥ | tadyathā udrakaśca rāmaputraḥ ārāḍaśca kālāmaḥ, ye vā punaranye'pi kecinniśritā ārūpyeṣu niśrayavinibaddhā niśrayādhyāśritāḥ | bodhisattvastu punaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitāyāṃ caran prajñāpāramitāṃ bhāvayan prajñāpāramitāyāṃ yogamāpadyamānaḥ na kvacinniśrayaṃ karoti, aniśrito bhavati sarvatra | yasmin khalu punaḥ samaye suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaḥ prajñāpāramitābhāvanāyogamanuyokto viharati, tasmin samaye na rūpaniśrito bhavati, na vedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskāravijñānaniśrito bhavati, na viparyāsanīvaraṇadṛṣṭigataniśrito bhavati, na nāmarūpaniśrito bhavati, na kāmarūpārūpyadhātuniśrito bhavati, nātmasattvasaṃjñāniśrito bhavati, na jīvapudgaladhātvāyatananiśrito bhavati, na pṛthivyaptejovāyvākāśavijñānenaivasaṃjñānāsaṃjñāyatananiśrito bhavati, na tṛṣṇāniśrito bhavati, na bhavatṛṣṇāniśrito bhavati, nocchedatṛṣṇāniśrito bhavati, nāntānantaniśrito bhavati, na pratītyasamutpādaniśrito bhavati, na dānamātsaryaniśrito bhavati, na śīlaśauḥśīlyaniśrito bhavati, na kṣāntivyāpādaniśrito bhavati, na vīryakausīdyaniśrito bhavati, na dhyānavikṣepaniśrito bhavati, na prajñādauṣprajñyaniśrito bhavati, nāviparyāsasamyakprahāṇāpramāṇasmṛtyupasthānaniśrito bhavati, nendriyabalabodhyaṅgasamādhisamāpattiniśrito bhavati, na duḥkhasamudayanirodhamārganiśrito bhavati, nānutpādajñānakṣayajñānānabhisaṃskārajñānaniśrito bhavati, na vidyāvimuktiniśrito bhavati, na vimuktijñānadarśananiśrito bhavati, na pṛthagjanaśrāvakapratyekabuddhabhūminiśrito bhavati, na pṛthagjanaśrāvakapratyekabuddhasamyaksaṃbuddhadharmaniśrito bhavati, na nīvaraṇaniśrito bhavati, nātītānāgatapratyutpannāsaṅgatāniśrito bhavati, na tryadhvasamatāniśrito bhavati, na buddhajñānabalavaiśāradyaniśrito bhavati, na sarvajñajñānaniśrito bhavati, na lakṣaṇasaṃpattiniśrito bhavati, buddhakṣetrasaṃpanniśrito bhavati, na śrāvakavyūhasaṃpanniśrito bhavati, na bodhisattvavyūhasaṃpanniśrito bhavati | sa sarvadharmaiścāniśrito na calati na saṃcalati, niśrayāśca tena sarve vibhāvitā bhavanti | aniśritaśca sa mārgamapi nābhiniviśate, aniśrayaṃ na manyate | so'yaṃ niśraya iti nopalabhate, iha niśraya iti nopalabhate, asya niśraya iti nopalabhate na manyate, asmānniśraya iti nopalabhate na manyate | sarvaniśrayānamanyamāno'nupalabhamāno'nabhiniviśamānaḥ na kvacinniśrayamupaiti nopadiśati nābhinandati nādhyavasāya tiṣṭhati | sa sarvaniśrayānupalipto'saktaḥ sarvadharmaniśrayaviśuddhimanuprāpnoti | idaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvasya sarvadharmaniśrayaviśuddhijñānadarśanaṃ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carataḥ, yenāsya mārāḥ pāpīyāṃso'vatāraṃ na labhante, anākramaṇīyaśca bhavati sarvamāraiḥ pāpīyobhiḥ, abhibhavati ca mārān pāpīyasa iti ||
